We have recently made our first Inspiring Change Award of almost £200,000 to West Dunbartonshire Council who will be working alongside digital technology company Lateral North to bring an exciting new experience to our community.
The new children's library in Glencairn House, which will be opening soon, will now include a fantastic digital storytelling experience for local and visiting children.

*Trustees are actively engaged in the development of a number of other opportunities in our community and are not open for new applications at this time.
As part of our program of giving, the Trustees created an Education Fund which was available to all schools in our Area of Benefit - Dumbarton and the Vale of Leven.
The Fund was open for applications from 12/01/2026 until 20/03/2026 for grants of up to £5,000 for primary schools and £10,000 for secondary schools.
We were delighted with the response with all eligible schools applying and receiving the grants.
The Helping Hand grant criteria is as wide as possible because we recognise the range of opportunities which exist in our local communities.
An overview of what we can fund can be found in our FAQs.
Our focus is on constituted community groups and registered charities who are working in our Foundation Area of Benefit.
Our Helping Hand Fund is now closed.
