We have recently made our first Inspiring Change Award of almost £200,000 to West Dunbartonshire Council who will be working alongside digital technology company Lateral North to bring an exciting new experience to our community.
The new children's library in Glencairn House, which will be opening soon, will now include a fantastic digital storytelling experience for local and visiting children.
For more information visit our Autumn/Winter 2025 Newsletter.
*Trustees are actively engaged in the development of a number of other opportunities in our community and are not open for new applications at this time.
As part of our program of giving, the Trustees have created an Education Fund which is available to all schools in our Area of Benefit - Dumbarton and the Vale of Leven.
We have contacted all head teachers in the area and invited them to apply.
The Fund is open for applications from 12/01/2026 until 20/02/2026 and is for grants of up to £5,000 for primary schools and £10,000 for secondary schools.
If you would like more information about this fund please contact us at cathrine.hope@strathlevenfoundation.org.uk
The Helping Hand grant criteria is as wide as possible because we recognise the range of opportunities which exist in our local communities.
An overview of what we can fund can be found in our FAQs.
Our focus is on constituted community groups and registered charities who are working in our Foundation Area of Benefit.
Our Helping Hand Fund is now closed.
