Our Grant Giving
At Strathleven Foundation, we are proud of the culture and heritage which helped form the identity of Dumbarton and the Vale of Leven - our Area of Benefit.
The rivers Clyde and Leven supported many of our famous industries - shipbuilding, textiles, glassmaking and whisky production to name but a few.
Our famous castle "The Rock", has the longest recorded history of any stronghold in Scotland and serves as a reminder of the strategic importance of Dumbarton through the ages.
Our grant giving specifically covers the Dumbarton and the Vale of Leven area. If your charity or community group is based outside our Area of Benefit but supports services for people within it, then we can still consider your application on a case-by-case basis.
